While collecting diamonds is not mandatory in this stage, it enhances the final rating. In symmetrically designed levels, Fireboy and Watergirl must move simultaneously to navigate obstacles. In white diamond levels, collecting a single diamond acts as the key to completion. Introducing a new design, dark levels lack external light sources besides the characters and buttons, eliminating the need for diamond collection.
