New elements like light detectors and mirrors make their debut in regular levels, alongside familiar obstacles like levers, pushers, and boxes. While collecting diamonds is not mandatory in this stage, it enhances the final rating. In symmetrically designed levels, Fireboy and Watergirl must move simultaneously to navigate obstacles. In white diamond levels, collecting a single diamond acts as the key to completion. Introducing a new design, dark levels lack external light sources besides the characters and buttons, eliminating the need for diamond collection. A reminder to players: Fireboy can traverse lava, Watergirl can walk on water, and both are susceptible to harm from lava, green slime, and dark liquid.
